    Aahhhh I missed my classes tonight because I forgot to bring the proper clothing =(

     

    Tomorrow I'll be working out in the morning and then trying to create my first bit of choreography (oh lord) in the evening for my first amateur pole competition!

    Today I had a private so I can move up a few levels in my pole class. Actually learned a good bit but now my shoulder (which caused problems last year and stopped me inverting) is starting to stress again.

    Oh no Reyn! Give your shoulder a day or two off! You won't regret it 🙂

    Ok so I am starting a 100 day challenge.

    Goals

    Do at least 1 muscle up  – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pull-up_(exercise)

    Be able to hold balance in true grip for at least 20secs 

    Be able to control true grip descent

    Be able to do 1 pistol in good form on each leg – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEBol54EjVE

    4-6 pack and more defined everywhere!

    I will be taking pictures probably tomorrow to use as a base comparison!

    Schedule

    Wed- 1.5 hr pole

    Thurs- Taught 2hr pole class

    Friday (today)- 4mi walk my body was hurting so i went easy

    Sat – Pole

    Sun-  Yoga dvd

    Monday teach 2 hr pole class

    Tuesday – crossfit

    Gentle on that shoulder Reyn 🙂 Shoulder injuries suck! 

    Yay for Private classes though! they always help 🙂

    Ell, I fell off the wagon for the past few days after stressing out my shoulder (not terribly ba since I needed to rest the shoulder) but today I’m back with a one-hour pole practice. Plus I danced at the club a Lot last night… That counts, right? 🙂

    Oh my not having the greatest time with my 100 day challenge.  I have been sick for the past week and a half.  I have a sinus infection going on and making it hard to do prolonged activity.  On the bright side, just started working front desk at a crossfit gym so will have great resources once i am better.  Hope you are all doing well with your 100days

    Bummer about being sick PPJ! everyone seems to be sick around here with sinus related issues too 🙁  Hope you're getting better!

     

    100 days are going good so far! yay!

     

    This is week to of the "Eat Clean Stripped" thing andddd i'm down 3.5lbs yay! I've been working my booty off! quite literally!

     

    Pole Transitions class tonight followed by wonderful Core Flow! Stoked!

    Sair Feeling much better this morning! Thank you.  Glad to hear your 100 days is going well. I bet seeing those 3.5 lbs was gratifying.

    Todays Workout of the day. (WOD in Crossfit terms)

    The workout was for time the reps per round were preset. 

    1 Thrusters w 40lb bar –  (reps per round ) 21, 15, 9

    2 Pull ups – 21, 15, 9

    Time 14:34 (my time wasn't great but this was a difficult workout and am just happy to have finished.)

     A thruster is a squat with a barbell racked on chest and as you come up from squat the bar goes into an overhead press.

    I’m back in the game. My shoulder still hurts a lot but I had an hour of pole class today and didn’t kill myself 🙂
    Will probably do some Kenpo tomorrow morning!

    i have been doing some crazy workouts with crossfitters that has been a mixture of jumping, heavy lifting, body weight exercises, speed, running, serious core strength, and awhole bunch of sweating. since last checking in I have done 4 crossfit workouts, 1 day lots of walking, 1 day  stretching, 1 day teaching 1 pole class

    Todays WOD was

    5 pull ups

    10 push ups 

    15 air squats

    20 minutes to complete as many rounds as possible

    i made 8rds and 10 push up, 15 air squat, and 1 pull up.   So close to 9 but the skin on my hand started to come off.
