10 mistakes to avoid while you’re still young!
I came across this article and feel it’s important to share. This last bit stood out to me as this is my motto as well “I train because I love it and because it makes me a better person. And because I can.”
While the article is strength training based the message is exactly what I try to bring to pole dancers through the lessons and my teaching method. Be kind to your body and you will see the benefits! 💜 We often push and focus too much on nailing what we think we “should” be learning. Twisting and stretching ourselves into positions our bodies reject, if you do this for too long you will pay later, no one like to hear this but it’s a real outcome. Some are naturally bendy or strong and that’s wonderful but to have a long life as a pole dancer we need to listen to our bodies. *stepping off soapbox now* ☺ï¸
