Sorry it's bad quality — lighting in my room at night is terrible and I was wearing dark pants. I'll probably try for some better photos during the daytime.

Heres my starting point, I have done the splits a few times the last 3 months but they aren't consistent and not squared I think.

I am training for my first 10k next month and haven't been able to make any progress toward stretching 🙁 I actually think the increase in running has made me less flexi! Are there any other runners on here that have had this issue?

Yeah running makes me tight in my quads, hips, glutes, hamstrings, and calves. So I guess everywhere lol. After running, I NEED to stretch right away for at least half an hour to counteract any tightening that has happened. And the for another 30-60 minutes to increase flexibility (might as well while I’m warm)

This is an awesome motivation!Just got my pure splits DVD last week. I’ve never done spilts or stretching before in my life and I gained 3-4 inches in my middle split after the first session of it 😀 I’m getting my pole in a few months too hopefully I can do the splits by Christmas and be spinning around a new pole by then!Im SO excited!!

Yes, I think the Pure Splits DVD is very good!
I love the exercise "Gravity Middles" because I think it is really effective! I have the feeling that I can go so much deeper into my middle splits after having done the DVD several times! I really recommend this exercise to everyone!

I progressed quickly at first but today after I did them I gained about an inch this time!But damn ill take it!lol it is very difficult for beginners like me though especially when doing the middle splits she wants you to squeeze then release that’s really uncomfortable. And doing the frog splits against the wall hurts my right hip flexor and then straight leg against the wall hurts also, but I’m very careful and go slow. I recommended it 100% also 🙂

Yes! Those squeezes and releases are uncomfortable and really exhausting! I am really happy every time the exercise is done!:D

No chance I'll get mine by Christmas but I'm currently doing my Felix Cane Flexibility DVD every other day so I'll hope for some improvement!
