    I want in but is it possible to get my splits by xmas. I’m almost there but veena said splits trainings twice a week and this is a slow process. is there a faster safe way?

    You never wanna rush flexy training. You run the risk of injury. Just keep at the twice a week routine. Some people gain flexibility quickly, others (like me) are slower.

    Agree with AerialGypsy!! Don’t rush and push your body further than it’s capable of. xmas tree splits is just going to give us all something to work towards! For those of us that don’t make it by christmas (I will definitely be one of them!) we can still work towards getting as low as possible before that time…and then maybe New Years splits! Or Valentines splits!!
    I’m splits training twice (sometimes three) times a week..so that’s intense stretching, and then every other day I’m just doing gentle stretches or foam rolling 🙂

    Adding to the not rushing point, once every month or two, ill take a full week off super intense stretching and super intense strength training, and let my muscles heal and my body rest. The following week after, Im sooo much more flexible and strong, so that may be something you want to try sometime.

    Been running a weekly stretch class for my girls since the summer, so now actually stretching regularly! (even if only deep stretching once a week, it’s more than I was doing before)
    Seen some gains, but this is definitely better than it has been before!

    and Silver Sylph, stretching progress is always slow, but you look fantastic! You’re a lot closer than me! I have been deep stretching at least once a week, and light stretching 2-3 times a week as well on top of that!

    I will upload my photo later this week…I am still quite far from the splits but maybe this time next year I will have it…what a great progress photo it will make!

    So I’ve gotten my oversplits on both sides, this is just a peak! However my middle splits have improved but don’t have them completely yet, damn!

    Here’s my 2013 Christmas Tree Splits contribution. I’m looking forward to having the left side by Christmas 2014.

    Haha me either I don’t have mine. I ended up focusing more in new moves and combos this year than my splits hehe
