30 Days to Flexy accountability thread

I’m doing day 3 today, but combining it with my normal gym workout. I’ll swap some of the stretches with different variations that suit me better. Let’s get bendy!

Haloanne, I am also switching out a few things! Mostly the sexy legs/ab one for the lower body workout. The sexy legs/abs feels like it points out my inflexibility while the other one makes me feel good about the workout. Hopefully when I am a little more flexible I will use the other workout. 🙂

love this idea! i am working my flexibility hard at the moment =)
im in work so i cant watch teh vids yet, can anyone tell me if a warm up is included or should we warm up by ourselves before watching the videos? -

Yay, day three accomplished! Tomorrow sounds interesting, I haven’t tried the flowmotion stretches before.

@ Halloanne, I totally agree that the program is well designed.
I just finished Day 10 and absolutely loved the Sexy Legs Routine as a warm up….
And the flowmotion section is awesome! It feels good to do them… -
Was anyone already doing some flexibility training? If so, did you change anything when adding the 30 day?

Ok so day 4 completed, how are we all doing? I really struggled to slow the flowmotion stretches right down enough, proof that I rush too much.

@Becca I have done some flexibility training & ballet on & off for some time but not recently, so rather than me change anything it’s been more about starting this & staying with it so that daily stretching becomes more of a good habit than something I remember to do once in a blue moon.

I’m on Day 19! I was really excited when 30 Days to Flexy came out, and only waited a few days to begin. I measured how close I was able to get to the floor in front and side splits, and I’m going to measure again at the end of the program. 🙂
I have noticed that I feel more limber, but I’m not sure how much actual flexibility I’ve gained.

Day 6! But I’m switching it with day 4 and flowmotion work, since I didn’t do those then.
I was doing some flexy work before this, but it was irregular and very unstructured. So far I’ve really liked the fact that I’m doing more soft tissue work in the form of foam rolling than I did before. I took a “before” video too before starting 30DTF, it’ll be interesting to see if there are visible results.

Day 8, loving it! Felt really good stretching the splits, it’s not far away. I had to switch the days around so I’m doing upper body and day 7 tomorrow.
