I’m 5ft tall at 118 and i have some thick thighs and legs but super small hands…I’m having a heck of a time with leg grips of any moves..uggg..idk if its bc of the pole or the fact my legs seem to very smooth..i don’t use lotion so i don’t understand why I’m having issues ..any advice would be great 🙂

I have a thin lanky frame and have a lot of trouble with skin grips on 40 mm… 45 and 50 is no prob (i also have long hands) but i feel the 40 is just too small for me to get grip from my legs and body…

I have really small hands and pole on a 40mm too!  My legs for some odd reason are very grippy even though I moisturize.  There are occasions where I change moisturizers and find my skin became less sticky so I think the type of moisturizer you use affects grippy-ness.  I only moisturize after I shower, not right before pole or anything.  I'm guessing your 40mm is chrome?  Chrome is finicky, I find both me AND the pole needs to be warm before it gets less slippery.  And also, I hear shaving gel/cream works well for the body.  I've only tried it on my hands and it made my hands VERY sticky so I'd imagine it'd work very well for legs too.  Hope this helped a bit.  =]

I love my 40 – I have really tiny hands :-). Mine is chrome and if I’m going to do any type of thigh holds, I always make sure to really warm up the pole, and put a small amount of itac on my inner thighs. Do you seem to only have the trouble when on a 40? Do you have a solid one on a 50 or 45? If its hit or miss, I suggest strengthening the inner thighs. Take one of those cheap kid balls (the kind that are in those large bins at walmart) and slowly squeeze it with your thighs, slowly release. I did this like 20 times, 2 sets. It took me a few weeks of doibg this, but my inner thighs were finally strong enough for those moves on the pole 🙂

I suggest you moisturize with a glycerin based lotion after showering. If necessary, use a grip aid. Some people just have skin that isn't sticky.
