So I’m a UK 6 but my toes hang over the edge of my current Pleasers. A lot. So I contacted a retailer and explained the problem and they suggested a size up. So I ordered a 7. But while the length is fine they are big in the bridge and I can put my fingers underneath (between my foot and bridge). They look loose on my feet. Not flopping loose but the bridge is loose for sure. For reference they are the black patent 7″ Adore. Patent bridge not plastic. I’ve contacted company and awaiting their reply.
Any thoughts? It’s a return job right?

By shoe bridge do you mean the part that goes over the top go the toes? Does it feel loose like they will fall off, or just look big?

I have several pairs of pleasers and my black patent pair is also loose at the part that goes across my toes while the clear pair I have that is the exact same size is quite tight. I’m not sure what the answer is. I bought mine from ebay so returning wasn’t an option. I can still wear the black ones but they don’t feel as secure.

They look big but I can secure them with the ankle strap. They just don’t feel as snug as my plastic bridge ones, although my toes aren’t popping over the edge. I’ll test run them in the studio, then I’ll know if there too loose and floppy for dancing. Thanks y’all

Thanks veena. I’ve had more success asking you guys for advice than the company who aren’t replying to emails.

I have the same Problem. Here is my very cheap and easy way to fix it:

I buy this Kind of stuff from ebay: http://www.ebay.de/itm/1-x-Selbstklebende-Neopren-Zellkautschuk-Matte-5mm-Starke-200x300mm-Moosgummi-/262178233599?hash=item3d0b0a5cff:g:LJQAAOxyhTFSSuEE
I don’t know what it’s called in English so I just posted the link. It basically is some sort of foam rubber and it’s used for noise insulation. It has one self-adhesive side.

I buy two different sizes, 1mm and 5mm.

Out of the 5mm, I cut a piece approx the size 5mm x 50mm and stick it on the insole where your toes start, right bevor the balls of the feet. This will stop the foot from sliding through the shoe.

Out of the 1mm, I cut an egg-shaped Piece about 80mm in length and place it over the other piece.

This way, the top layer secures the small bar in place.

This works way better than the pieces you can buy and are also a lot cheaper 🙂

Also, with the patent straps which I find uncomfortable, you can use the 1mm as a cushion on the inside of the straps.

I hope you understand what I mean. If not, I can post a picture.
