A little reality on TV!
Wonderful to see a nearly-accurate depiction of pole dancing classes on TV, tonight on Law & Order.
When they showed footage of the actual class, there were women of various shapes & sizes, dressed the way we usually see ourselves dressed in a class … they stayed entirely away from the slutty sleazy stereo-types.
The glaring differences from typical was that the studio was run by a guy, with, of course, a shady background. And a person of interest who was an instructor, also had a shady background. But that's TV.
The scenes from the studio were representative of the studio environments I've experienced and the dancers I've seen.
