I am having such a hard time getting the move, “Advanced Hello Boys” consistently. I’ve done it a couple of times and can’t figure out why I can’t get it every time. Veena does not have a lesson on this one, but if you do a search on her site for “advanced hello boys,” I saw a video of someone doing it. The video is sideways for me and I had to turn my laptop to the side to watch her. But, my problem is that I’m afraid it is going to slide hard up the middle and hurt! How do you do it so that it doesn’t hurt in the middle? How do you do it so that you don’t slide? Thanks for any advice 🙂

Never place the pole on your coccyx (tail bone)!! You’ll want to have it off to the side of butt cheeks. I don’t have it in lesson, but here is a video where I spin into it and you can see the pole is not in the middle of my butt or crack or vajayjay! lol

Other tips would be to be sure and lower the hips down all the way before opening up the legs and keep the hands high.

Here it is at the very end @ 2:15 isn

Haha veena that was a cool vid lol haven’t seen that one. The hello boys was always difficult for me I never thought of putting the pole off to the side like that must give that a go.

Wow!! Veena!! I LOVE that tush dance!! I never knew there were so many things to do with the booty!! I am working on a routine for my husband and got some new ideas with this video!! Thanks so much!! Regarding the advanced hello boys, I have a hard time getting the pole off to the side and also, I have been putting my hands down very low, like almost touching my legs because that is how it was shown in a Jamilla video. I really need to try those 2 things!! Thanks so much!! And, nice booty 😉

Wasn’t that the bug infested house, V? Is it sad that I know your different residences over the years??

I have an easier time getting into this out of a layback. I can state though that I HAVE bruised my lady bits learning this. Yes to the hands near crotch and you lean back way farther than you would in a regular Hello Boys.

Yeah that was the house, I really miss that space. 😕

I’ve always kept my hands up higher then crotch area, I think…I haven’t done it in forever, but I recall holding between belly and chest level. Jamilla is a good instructor so keep at it.

I guess what I meant was my hands are much closer than in the standard wrist seat. If you try it from that same distance you will never get the correct angle to be able to lean back.
