Advice for a new “Poler?”
I have been taking a class each week at a local studio, and I absolutely love it..so much that I bought my own pole for at home. I guess the most advice I need is on how to quickly build my strength and grip. I'm 5'7 about 185 pounds which makes spins and holds difficult. I haven't tried climbing or inverts yet, as I am still new.
I have two different types of grip-hold stuff, but when I am going in for a basic spin all of a sudden my palm gets so wet that I can't even seem to hold on, let alone fly my legs up. Is this normal? Or do I just have really sweaty hands?
Any advice, youtube video links or exercises would be GREAT as I want to be able to do what all the skinny mini's in my class can do, Pole Fit is just way too much fun.
