Aerial Circus Equipment
Hello Ladies (and gentlemen few),
I'm looking to buy some aerial equipment for my backyard, I've decided I'm going to build my own 18ft A-frame to mount everything on, but when it comes to buying the equipment to hang from it, I'm at a loss of where to buy from.
I didn't know who else to ask except the lovely people here at studio veena. I know there are a lot of people who are interested in the circus arts here and some may have experience buying, or may have at least heard something through the grape vine.
I'm currently taking cirque lessons at Atlantic cirque and plan on entering the professional program very soon, majoring in aerial silks and cerceau, minoring in juggling.
There are a few sites that have come up in my search, but I haven't found any reviews or anything to back up any of the businesses.
I live in Nova Scotia, Canada, so I would love to have a company near by to reduce shipping costs. but I'm not willing to sacrifice quality and customer service for something local.
These are a few examples of sites that I've found, note that silks I would like are a medium stretch and for rigging I would prefer a rescue 8 over anything else for the silks. I'm also looking to get a trapeze and cerceau (aerial hoop). I already have my gymnastics rings ready to go.
