So I attended my first aerial yoga class and I am in love.  My body felt so strecthed and relaxed after the class (not to mention fatigued) afterward.  There are classes offered by me but they are a good 35 minute drive and I could only make a Saturday morning class whcih kind of sucks because I really love not setting alarm clocks on weekends.  So in researching I found the KT Coates has dvds available and I am seriously considering making the investment.  So, have any of you seen these dvds?  I am quite familiar with KT and her teaching style and abilities so that is not an issue.  I am wondering about the content.  I am also looking at possibly getting both dvds that she offers (one is yoga, the other is aerial fitness).  I also notice that the fitness dvd is making use of stirrups on top of the swing and wonder if the whole dvd requires that.

Are there any other dvds out there (besides the ridiculously priced antigravity ones) that anyone knows of?

Now to decide on a color….ugh.

Chemmie- Flygym.com I believe has stuff posted on You Tube.  Also, they travel and certify instructors to teach this.  I love my set- 13 pieces with a bunch of attachments included.

Hi, I purchased the aerial yoga DVD from the uk. It was slow paced but I learned a few things. The splits stretches were good if I remember correctly. Justvdidnt get my heart rate up like my live class.

I bought these(the aerial yoga Vol 1 & 2 and I am really plased with the layout and progressions.

I haven't seen anything else to compare it too…..but from a fitness and safety point of view….I am pleased.

That is the first time I have seen them listed by themselves.  I kept on seeing the cert along with these and it was $450.

I know, for the price, you can't go wrong. They are very progressive in the approach of teaching/breakdown as well.

Ironically…I have the manuals, but have never taken an aerial yoga class. LOL

It is on the agenda of things I want to teach….So, I am in research mode. Need to get myself myself some knowledge and certification before I will contemplate teaching it.

I am actually registered for a Yoga for Fitness Certification coming up in November as I feel I should be certifed in Yoga first…………..then build on to it.

Anyway, so buy them….You won't be disappointed.

The 2nd volume is HUGE though….It is a very big digital file…..

    Well worth the small investment.

I have those manuals as well and loved every minute of them – have made changes to what she suggests from videos on you tube and love classes but otherwise and excellent base to work from 🙂
