    I’m getting one!

Thoughts? Advice? General words of wisdom?

According to the internet home training is sort of advised against…but I’ve been so in love with my jungle gym xt that it’s kinda set off a suspension training obsession!

Been doing yoga on and off for quite a few years and I feel pretty confident about correct muscle engagement for the core poses. We have aerial yoga by us, but only once a week and it’s often canceled 🙁

I bought the deluxe yoga hammock from amazon cuz it looks like it’s the only one on there that fully cocoons you, and the cocoon is so nice…

Have any of you learned hammock primarily at home? And if so, where did you get lessons from?

    Thanks!

I mostly watch the fly gym lessons on youtube.I have a big mirror that I try to make sure I am alligned correctly. But I also had one lesson at The Chrome Bar with Alethea Austin. I live too far away from anyone to attend lessons regularly.

When I bought my hammock I ordered the manual from here Rebeckah it’s a good starting point because I had know idea where to begin. I got through the material in about an hour though! Now I experiment and teach myself as undid with pole. http://www.rebekahleach.com

I wouldn’t worry about self teaching hammock. Silks are different because of the wraps, but hammock, especially yoga hammock, shouldn’t be a big deal

Cool! Book officially ordered. Veena where did you get your rig? Is it from x pole? Azblanco was telling me about that the other day. The trapeze rigging.com one but I’m worried 8 feet will be too short. You and I are about the same height, would you say 8 feet is too short?

Yes, this is the Xpole A Frame. If you are interested feel free to send me an email about the rig. 8 feet would be too short for me! This was about 10 ft, the frame goes up to 11, at least that’s what we measured it at.
