Alethea Austin in North Carolina!!! May 15th!!
Ok, Let me start by saying I am soooo flippin excited!! I had heard that Alethea was going to be doing a couple of workshops about 4 hrs away from me…well, I made some calls and got in touch with Alethea! She is going to be teaching a floor and flexibility workshop and a master pole work shop at my studio!! That is such incredible news! It’s going to be such a blast! Wow.
This is my favorite community. I’m still fairly new in Vegas and it’s a tough town. Maybe it sounds weird, but I feel more connected with you guys than anyone I know here. I love how we all support one another. That’s the way it should be–at least in my world. So it is my great pleasure knowing that in telling RoxyPink that Alethea was coming to her part of the country, that she created such good things for herself! I’m really impressed by Roxy’s initiative. Her studio is very lucky to have such a wonderful, talented, enthusiastic instructor.

I wonder if Justpolinaround is having trouble filling them up too!I’d at least sign up to learn some sexy floorwork! I feel like I’d be wasting her time in the other workshop, but who wouldn’t want some of that hotfloorwork.

I thought it was ireland, my mom says that looks like it’s too long, and my husband stubbornly insists if it’s a tattoo across your abs it says thuglife. -

Well I hope you can make it and why not do the master workshop??? It’s taylored to all different levels. She told me you don’t have to even be able to invert!!! Keep me posted!

but yea the workshop was fun as hell ^o^ i just kinda wish we had a bigger studio to accommodate everyone that came. but still ^o^ we loved having her it was amazing.. haha my highlight..

I think the tattoo says ‘Heartland’? It’s definitely something ‘eartland’, but not sure on the first letter entirely. It’s bugging me now. What does the one on her hip under it say? I am so sad I don’t live in the States to make it to workshops and classes and meet all you fantastic North American polers!

I go to bespun. The classes are typically mix level, but don’t be initimated! We all started at the same level. And, really, learning from Alethea is well worth it.

Alethea’s tattoo says "Heartland" …she is from Indiana – one of our Midwest/heartland states.
