An Odd Discomfort?
Hello ladies!
I've been absent for quite a while, 9 weeks ago today I sprained my ankle (not pole related) and it's finally feeling well enough to exercise on (though I can tell it's not 100% better yet).
So first some back story. In 2005 I had abdominal surgery twice in two months for a uterine fibroid. I have a scar from my belly button to my hair line.
I've done the pole strength lesson a few times this week, and today noticed that the scar area really hurts when I press against the pole (like in a pole hold).I'm wondering if anyone else here has ever had a similar problem… or maybe there is some way I can stop pressing in to the pole so hard? I don't mean to, lol… maybe it will just improve as I get stronger?
