I am proud to announce the start of pole dancing classes at Yoga Hound Yoga in Decatur, IL. We are currently the only studio offering pole dance classes in this part of the state. Starting in September, our pole classes will focus on developing strength and confidence while exploring sensuality through many types of music. Students will learn conditioning and tricks as well as flexibility, flow and connection to music. Plus, you get to hang out with me! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif Our beautiful facility is a serene oasis where students will feel comfortable learning about themselves through the beautiful form of self-expression that is pole dancing.

Class times are 8-9pm Wednesday and 7-8pm Saturday. All classes are mixed level.

Stay tuned for upcoming information about our next monthly community event, where anyone will be free to come see what we have to offer!

For more information about classes or our studio, feel free to message me! Come be a part of the start of something new and wonderful. Come help us grow!

Good Luck! It is a great feeling to offer the first public classes in an area. My studio was the first to offer pole dancing in Akron and that was over a year ago. Now I am developing another pole program in a different city and starting to teach at another established pole studio. Enjoy

Thank you all! I’m very excited. I hope you’ll all feel free to contact me if you’re passing through to come play! And I reiterate to anyone going to the Chicago jam that I’ve got room for travelers.

Sadly Chemmie is right. But if you want a good resource for all things pole in central IL, I suggest you contact the Illini Pole Fitness group at U of I via their fb page!

I’m in Central IL. I couldn’t make routine classes but plan to pole at home. Does anyone know if there is any such thing like personal training sessions with poling? Where I could set up an appointment, travel an hour or so, learn a trick or two, and return home to work on it more? And then set up another session at my leisure later?
