Anxious About Actually Auditioning at a Club
Hi, everyone.
I'm just really anxious about actually going out there and doing it ya know? I do not know many pole moves because I don't own one and haven't really had a lot of practice but I heard that comes with time. I am not a small girl. I'm "thick" or so I've been told. I have a very beautiful shape in my opinion. The club I'm going to has a much bigger girl that gets on stage every night and makes good money. I'm just unsure on what to expect, how to act, what to bring. Any tips on how to navigate the strip scene successfully?

When you do club work, the Pole is secondary. Many don’t even use it at all do don’t worry about that…
What to bring:
Shoes +spare they will break if you don’t have spare 🙂
Outfits that make you feel sexy
Baby wipes
Make up
Thongs and spare thongs
Tampons
Anything you use for your hair
A towel to sit on (don’t ever sit on the chairs with your bare bum)
Microfiber cloth to wipe Pole when its your turn
Music if they let u choose your own
Perfume/body spray
A small empty purse to keep all your money with you at all times! You can put jewelry and whatever in there that you don’t want any one touching
Most important: bring your sexy attitude and confidence! -
I also kept every outfit for work separated in Ziploc bags in my work bag, keeps them cleaner and easier to find the stuff that goes together, i also had two bags my big one for everything, my sm one for shoes so they didn’t get my clothes stinky, and my makeup case…don’t borrow peoples stuff always be prepared!

And if the club has lockers, bring your own lock for sure! Most places I've worked have had tons of really awesome girls working there, but there were also ALWAYS some shady chicks. It's nice to be trusting, but never be TOO trusting or your stuff will go missing! Also, tip the house mom well, so she will be sure to keep a keen eye on your things for you 🙂

I did have locks for my bags also, we didn’t have lockers and i had a locking makeup case

Careful with bags. Any junkie with a pen can open them. And girls will walk off with the entire make up bag or box if they have the space for it or don’t plan on returning to that club. Honestly, the best thing you could do is get s lunch box or bigger purse and carry your essentials (deodorant, wipies, grip aid, etc) on you and put everything else in your car when you’re done getting ready. I’ve worked in classy clubs and trashy clubs. Girls will find a way to steal things. If you don’t want it stolen, don’t leave it in the dressing room. Lockers are the only exception, because they can’t be moved. But even then I’ve been in clubs where girls have snipped locks and cared locks.
