Any Love for Ankle Boots?
I have an unnatural love for my Pleaser faux patent knee boots. However, I just tore the top of the foot area and am despondent. Luckily, I am not prone to being overly dramatic. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
My betraying boots are Pleaser Delight 2000.

These are a side zip, non-lacing boot. The construction/design flaw is the seam on top of foot. The patent has ripped along the seam; rest of boot wears beautifully.
My Pleaser 2063 boots have a similar toe area. These, though, I have in the PU material and they show zero wear and tear.

These seem much more rigid and stable in design. I found a pair of ankle boots I may try:

I also like the patent buckle straps that cross over the lace. I think(hope) they may provide some traction against the pole, instead of just a frictionless fabric lace.
Have you danced in this style? Will it slap a bandaid on my boot sadness? Do you like ankle boots as much as knee boots? I surmise they will be a versatile entry between shoes and boots. Any and all insight is greatly appreciated! Thanks ya’ll (yes, I am bilingual. I speak pole and Southern).
