  • Any Veeners had luck with mixing finishes on Xpoles?

    Hi all,

Working out on my TG Xpole today, and I’m having a really sticky day. Which is awesome when working on sticky tricks like holds. But I’m trying to do spin combos today and I’m yelping in pain and tempted to put on some yoga pants. Days like this make me miss working on stainless steel for spin work.

Veeners with Xpoles: is it possible to occasionally use a steel A and B pole with a TG base and dome? I know it would look silly, but I don’t particularly care since it’s in my home. Would it be best just to look for a secondhand steel pole as a spare? Maybe a Lil Mynx? I am happy with my TG pole most of the time, I just miss working on steel sometimes.

    Thanks as always!

Doesn’t Dirdy Birdy have a mixed A pole and B pole?

I think Dirdy Birdy mentioned somewhere that the finish had worn away. I might be wrong though

Yep, it is able to be done.  There was someone on here a while back that had the same thing but I cannot remember who it was.  It is also my understanding that newer TG poles do no wear like the old ones did.

It is possible to do, but x pole will not sell the a and b pole separately for stainless. I tried.

@AerialGypsy Good to know. It seemed like it would work, but I'd have to find someone selling used pole parts. It might be easier just to get a second pole.

You may have a hard time finding used stainless x poles. X pole told me they sell really small #s of the stainless. Have you tried chrome? You are more likely to find a used chrome.
