i’ve used prince. its not made for poling… it’s better than nothing, but it did not work for me :/

i have had the most success with tite grip and dry hands used together

I’ve learned to try anything I could get my hands on because everyone’s skin is different.

Prince grip works great for me! Dry hands is always my preference, but prince is a good and convenient alternative considering you can get it locally from academy or any sporting goods store. (: You should definitely try it out.

I agree, I think Prince is worth a try, but in my preference, I Iike the lighter texture of dry hands better for sweaty hands

Prince grip smells like fruit loops. I like that in a grip aid.

Actually I think it smells like orange scented windex, its actually kinda offensive if you put your hands too close to your face, or you accidentally apply too much haha

Maybe they changed the fragrance since I last used it years ago!

Prince grip is amazing for me, I have to reapply much less often than I do with dry hands. That and liquid grip are my favorites. Everybody’s different with grip aids, but might be worth a shot if others aren’t particularly helpful.

Also, the grip aids that will help will depend on whether you can’t stick because you’re sweating or slippery from dryness. Prince grip is usually good for sweaty people.

My hands were only sweaty when I’d go upside down. After trying a bunch of grip aids, Prince really works well for me! I prefer it over Dry Hands and I definitely only have to apply it maybe once or twice a class instead of every 5 minutes like with Dry Hands. I also found that spraying white vinegar on my hands now and then, even on my non-poling days, acted as an astringent and they don’t sweat as much. Now that I’m more used to going upside down my adrenaline has calmed down and so has the sweat. ….I also like Liquid Grip but need to play around with that more.
