    Hi Jenn,

    First, YAYYYY for getting a X-Pole!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I don’t have any advice on the 50mm vs. the 45mm (as I struggled with making a decision too), but I did recently purchase my 50mm Chrome X-Pole from this site.

I purchased it on a Sunday, it shipped on Monday, and it arrived on Friday of the same week. Mine shipped from California, and I live in Georgia. So depending on where you live in the country, the shipping times will likely vary.

When it shipped, they included a tracking number so I could "stalk it," and I would recommend anyone to purchase their X-Pole from Veena’s site!

    Hope that helps! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Thanks so much MrsC.

I live like 30 miles outside of Canada, on a military post in upper NY. So I hope I get it in a week, so I can get some better lessons in.

    WOOOO FOR XPOLE https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif think I will go with the 50mm https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

A lot of people find the 45 easier becauase it is smaller to grip, and that tends to be the diameter used in competeitions, however for some moves the 50 hurts less, and if you are small it can be easier to do laybacks and stuff on a larger pole.

But I personally think it is better to learn and practice on a 50 because it is always easier to go from a 50 to a 45, but it you buy a 45 then when you try and show off on a 50 you might find it really hard!!

    So YAY for 50mm!

but i love my new x pole.
it rocks. the grip is amazing. I’m selling the old 50 mm pole.

My husband got me a new pole from the studioveena site for my birthday last week. Delivery was quick. I got the 45mm pole because that’s the size the USPDF uses. He emailed them to ask before he bought it. I hope that helps you decide on the size at least. I’m not sure about chrome versus stainless steel. I’ve always practiced on stainless.
