Anyone out there?

Aw, I used to live up in North Cal- I know the feeling though, It feels fairly isolated here in Pismo too. 🙂 Nevertheless even if there aren't a lot of polers around up there at least you have eeeeeveryone from eeeeverywhere here on Veena. I think I'd go crazy without this place.

I’m from wayyyyy southern Oregon, on the border of Cali. But I know this is random….I LOVE PISMO BEACH!!!!!! The weekends me and my friends spent there camping and riding the dunes and drinking and bonfires and watching the dolphines swimming in the surf while the sun rose….those memories are second to none!! We used to drive there from San Diego, five hours, but worth every minute.

🙂 Pismo is a very popular place for such activities.
It's funny but living here you actually don't get to do many of the things that most come here to do.(bonfires, drinking, ect.) I've been dying to go camping, I rarly go to the beach, I never have driven over to the part of the dunes that you can drive on. ^^ I am happy though that at one point I was able to see dolphins and sometimes when I'm struck by a perticularly bad bout of insomnia I will walk across the road with my husband to the 7/11, then walk down to sit on the swings on the beach and listen to the ocean and drink hot cocoa. It's kind of odd to be able to do that. Although I grew up by a lake, it was in a very wild area and going out at night was not very safe so I find it fun to be able to go out and look at the stars in relative safety. I miss the quiet of the country- I live on one of the main streets near a camp ground so it unfortunetly doesn't get very quiet.
XD Ironic- I drive up to san diego when I go on trips/vacations. Usually it's to see relatives in Del Mar but still. It's funny that it's reversed like that.
