Allgold well done first of the the group to start! I will do it once I have dropped my boy at morning playgroup.
Woo! we are off!

polekat, if you have never pole danced before then doing only what’s listed each of the 30 days will keep prevent becoming overly sore, however if you’re not new to pole then add whatever you like to it. 🙂

Allgold78, have you been cleared by a dr to do squats and such? Also if it’s not painful often it’s fine, but I would see a dr. The warm up contain squats but the ab challenge doesn’t and. More of the pole work doesn’t use any squatting either. Also be sure to check your form, knees never past toes and try staying up higher instead of squatting too low. The take off addressed all muscle groups equally so it’s possible the knees may feel better after completing it!
I’m not aware of any issues with the video 🙂

Hi Veena, thanks for that. I haven’t actually been to the docs – it’s just been one of those things that’s happened over time and I’ve not thought to get checked out, but I think I will now you’ve mentioned it. Funny how we just accept things that our bodies do without worrying about it isn’t it. It bugs me every now and again but if I rest goes away so I am just cautious about anything that involves that sort of lunge or squat movement. Will get it checked though, thanks.
As for the video, must be my PC then. I’ll see if I can find some info to fix it. A bit annoying missing the first 3 or so seconds of each one!

If you have tech issues contact us through the contact link, I can’t help you with tech, I have no clue about that stuff! Lol

Because I am extremely new to pole (never even took a class before!) I will just be focusing on my strength, conditioning and flexibility with light focus on floor work and dance spins on active rest days…oh, I also bought “Get Bent” by Kristina as almost every pole fitness blog I’ve come across recommended it so I will be trying to add that in as well.
Well…now that I typed it out it looks like I’ll be working on a lot lol. I’ll see how my body handles it and will adjust accordingly

Day 1 complete! OMG those pole leg lifts were hard!! Also moved my pole to the living room today where I have a bit more space and have been tempted to do some spins but I have my graduation on Friday and really would like bruise free legs so far have managed to resist.haha.

I’m a moron, someone please help me.
I have watched the video explaining the 30-day take off but I don’t understand what the 30 lessons are. Do we just do the first 30 beginner lessons? I am 100% certain this answer is right in front of my face but I’ll be darned if I can find it.

You watch the vid explaining the 30 day thing then look underneath where it says ‘next lesson’
It should be on your home page (unless you selected ‘hide 30 days’ previously)
https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/50d407f6-6738-46d9-bca7-32260ac37250 here it is if you can’t see it.Once you click next lesson you get Day 1
Here it is https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/50c8b3e9-73f4-4b88-99a6-6f640ac37250
You go through all the lessons which are Veena intro, basic warm up, forward/back scapula, pole squats, leg lifts, lunges, leg hook side crunch, butterfly stretch, pike stretch, lying thigh stretch.
Then it should load day 2 when you click next lesson.
