YES!!! I’m here in Alaska too. I know there is a few ladies who enjoy pole in AK, but I don’t know anyone else who loves to pole as much as I do.
I would love to see pole grow up here! I was just down at the Fourth of July picnic in Wasilla with my pole & it went over really well. I’ve been at a few events as well & always had a positive response. Lots of people up here don’t really know what pole is about, but they seem to appriciate it when they see it. -

I get the same vibe! I think the folks who know about it just don't have any opportunity to try it out. Are you in the valley? I'm in Anchorage…It would be awesome to get together sometime! I've got a 50mm and 45mm xpert at my home.

Ya, Im out in Wasilla. I have a powder coated LM 50 & a xstage lite 45-brass & powder coated poles. I’m almost always in my pole late mornings/early afternoon, come out here any time! I’ll be in Anchorage Saturday & back in Wasilla Sunday, if you want to get together sometime over the weekend or whenever let me know. Finally another poler, I’m always so envious of everyone who gets to pole with other people all the time. I’ll send you a PM

Very good student of mine just moved to Alaska. She’s in the Coast Gaurd and hated to leave her pole family behind. I will find out where she’ll be and let her know there is some pole life! Yeah! She just got her 50mm Xpert 🙂

I just came to Kodiak from Impulse Studios. Does anyone know of a studio? I hope I’m not the only one up here.

I haven’t been to Kodiak, but I can’t imagine there are any pole studios there. There is a dance studio in Anchorage with a class once a week. There’s a studio in Wasilla with pole, but the studio just moved & I’m not sure the time frame for getting new poles for the new place.
Not sure if you get off Kodiak island often, but if you get into Anchorage at all, I’m not too far from there & have a couple poles. -
Ya, there's not much organized pole in AK…but definitly let us know if you come to the Anchorage area!!

Awesome!!! I’m building a mini “studio” in my garage and would love to have some pole jams. I’m pretty new to pole but am so excited with the idea of learning from and with others!
