I’m beginning the NETA course to get certified in group exercise (the exam is in March! I’m so excited!). I’m thinking that I’ll be doing a yoga specialty certification afterward, and I’d like to know how companionable yoga is with pole?
I think it’s a great companion for pole but I’d like to hear thoughts and perspectives. Ideas on other disciplines are welcome, too!

    Answer: VERY

Pole is just yoga on a stick.

There’s even classes that are pole/yoga fusion in some studios. Do it 🙂

Yes, yoga will be helpful, a background in group fitness or personal training is helpful too. Also, there is a lot of information online that you can study as far as muscle groups etc.
