It's normal to get bad blisters and ripped-off skin when you're a beginner. The skin will successively grow thicker and much more resistant if you keep poling. That's why pole dancers have rough palms.
I've been on for 4-5 years and get it only if I do very much one-handed spinning on a static pole.
Rest your hands until the blisters have flattened out or the wounds have healed to most extent (takes a couple of days up too a week sometimes in bad cases), then get on it again. The issue will be solved with time.
And after that, when you have built up more skin and your hands feel too rough and the skin too hardened at certain spots, keep your hands for a couple of minutes under warm water to soften up and then take a foot-file and file the bumps of skin down so that they become flat. That will make poling more comfortable 🙂
