BASE OF POLE IS STUCK???? aaaargh

ok basically Iv promised u guys I will put my pole vids up and I feel I'v failed you's all seeing as it has been about 3 months or 2 since I said Id moved and was able to use my pole……BUT!!!!! I went to make sure it fits and take all the bits apart with the help of my handy fiance, and we realised it WOULD fit but my 125mm tube is bloody screwed on too tight to my spinning base……and my spinning base won't bloody go static to make it easier to unscrew……Im fuming please help if you have any idea how I can fix this. I only need m 2 long tubes in order for it to fit perfectly in the sitting room aaaaaargh WHY…….WHY ME…….im dyin to get back on it lol xxxx

What type of pole do you have? I assume X but is it the newer or the older style?

Is the rod that sticks out of the base turning? It should be stationary and the screws at the base of the pole need to be tightened in alignment with the x's on the base. If they aren't, it won't be in stationary.

yeah Iv had it spinning for a while its kinda silly sounding but it wont go static im not sure why not it just hasnt for a while lol I think that part is broken so I either need to buy a new base or try my damn hardest to get the bit off.

Its the older version chemgoddess, its 55mm screw joint got it about …..god 6 or 7 years ago I have my release tools but obviously they aint great on this part since I can only use one on the extention

hmmm might have to I'll keep tryin but if anyone hears of anyone in fife in scotland or around there sellin a 55mm screw joint base please let no be the first to no lol xx

I’m sellin my pole to get a smaller 1 as I struggle with th 50mm xpert I’m ndn a 45mm. If ur lkn to buy 1 just give me a shout huni. xxx

Please call Paul or Jon at X-Pole Uk office on Monday 01707 664111 and they will assist. It would help if you send a couple of Photos of your base with locked extension to ensure the correct assistance is given.
