Has anyone tried dancing in ballet slippers?

I’m already pretty tall, and dancing in heels isn’t really my style anyway. But I also think covered feet would look nicer than bare feet (particularly since I have long, thin feet lol).

Yes, they can be great! I actually used my ballet slippers today on my periscope because my feet were sticking to the floor! I like Blosh brand.

Ever since I started pole; my feet get cold easily, and I can’t bear heels unless chunky and under a couple of inches, and ballet shoes allow you to pivot nicely. Good reminder to always point, too!

Dance stores have quiet a variety of Bloch shoes covering different parts of soles (like half-sole) or toes. I have two kinds heels open/ toes closed and half soles with toes open. Both are very comfy for spins, open toe is better for poling and closed toes are good for floor work especially when you need to drag your toes like going into shoulder rolls and open butterfly floor spins around the pole. I found high heels were difficult to use at first. In general as much as I love the heels but feeling the floor gives me a boost of confidence until Im familiar with the move

I usually perform in heels, however, when I practise I prefer to wear ballet Slippers. I really don’t like dancing barefoot because i dance around the pole a lot and do a lot of floorwork and I find this hard since dancing in bare feet they seem to stick to the floor rather then slide over it.
I prefer So Danca half sole in nude (you can’t really see them since they match my Skin Color pretty well): http://northamerica.sodanca.com/collections/modern/products/ba-41-ba-42
