Being Top Heavy
Posted by minicoopergrl on January 26, 2010 at 3:30 pmive always thought about this and im not sure if im the only one w/this problem doing pole.
Lets just be frank – i have 2 HUGE fricking boobs. Dont get my wrong, they do come in handy sometimes(getting what I want from just about any guy https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif ). But others I feel like I have to move them out of the way to get anything. I try to flag, but even getting in that position requires me to shift the girls https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif . Ive also be wanting to get the split grip (I think thats what its called, one hand on top, other hand about waist height, fingers down inside of the wrist up), but I have to again push the girls around.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I think i can be of some assistance in this problem…lol… i’m a D or DDish size and mine are quite annoying lol. I’ve learned to work around it on the pole, and with every move i have tried i never felt like there was one I couldn’t do, just cause of my size. I guess the worst thing would be having to go through a total costume adjustment to make it look decent. And being the only one around at events who is wearing a ugly sports bra while the other girls are wearing teeny tiny things. Although i do wanna start my own line of competition pole dance wear that is professional and sporty, while beautiful. my idea was something flashy and pretty like this…

but in a two piece and shortsIm in same boat as you! Im in that size as well. What do you modify to get the move if the twins are a hinderance?
I totally agree w/you on the costumes. Ive found a few websites that I like thier stuff but its too expenisve for me. I will buy something off rack and make it my own.
I like that outfit! I think you should go for your idea, you never know!

well i’ve found that as i have started lifting weights for my bicep and triceps buildup my chest was easier to work with, not saying i lost any size cause mine are fake lol, but there was more muscle and when I was doing more close range moves like forearm grips etc.. it wasnt as painful. normally when i first started those moves though, i wanted to do them so badly i just ignored any discomfort from my chest (not always a good thing though) and did the move anyway. sometimes i double up on bras but then that limits your range of motion https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif

uh oh…i couldnt let this go without putting my two cents in…
im a 34-36G 610cc’s….
i flag just fine, my boobs are going on five years old, im very very used to them, i split grip just fine. please please catzeye…i would love to consult with you about pole wear for us chesty gals. i have to wear big ugly sports bras that often dont fit in the first place and anything i buy to fit my breasts doesnt fit anywhere else. i see your cute sparkly purple outfit and I LOVE IT…did you have to special order it? i would love to collaberate with you on pole wear. i have alot to add to the topic as during my five years with my implants i have come across many different styles of tops and i am very aware of improvements that need to be made. i order from this site biggerbras.com they have my 34G size in alot of great brands that i cant find in stores…its not a popular or common size…neiman marcus carries bras in my size but they are 90 bux a piece and the one i did buy from them didnt hold up well..the brand is Chantelle. Goddess makes a great sports bra but once again, you have to order it and its often on back order. so anyways..i have plenty experience in this area and im dying to see a top that doesnt pull on my neck, back and shoulders but gives me the support i need for my chesticles.

I hear ya, minicoopergirl!! I have 38 E’s and there are certain moves that are a challenge for the enormously bosomed! For example, the jump tuck–boobage always gets in the way and I don’t have the strength yet to position the pole below them. Split grip was an issue for me too, but like you, I just sort of shove them out of the way. Anything that demands the arm across the chest is a bit of a challenge, so I generally angle my body more towards the pole to resolve this. It doesn’t seem to affect my spins too much. Champion makes a decent "dualboob" sports bra that looks pretty good and keeps the ta-tas in place even upside down (AWESOME) with no spillage. There’s a thread on here somewhere about unaboob vs. dualboob bras–that’s how I found out about the Champion bra. I would LOVE catzeye’s costuming, count me in when it happens!!

I’m glad other people share my pain! Although mine aren’t big enough to hinder my pole moves but I have to very very careful doing any inverted moves because my boobs for sure pop out in regular bras and it’s gotten to the point where I have to wear two sports bras with the thick straps to keep them in and they are quite ugly! In my videos I put on my cute one and just edit the parts where they pop out https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I would definitely love a pole line for bigger girls, I’ve always said I wanted to design a pin-up inspired lingerie line that starts at C cups and up because every time I bra shop all the really pretty bras are in the teeny tiny sizes and the grandma bras are the big ones, its very sad!

I have been having this issue, well not in away of poling, but for shopping for bras in general. Lately I have been buying vitoria secret, although the last 2 I had have broke at the rim of the bra, or the wire will poke through with the fabric! So i stopped buying them, but I can see where you guys are coming from, I am a cup size d, and I have been having issue finding my size too! That would be a great idea for you to do glitter!! I say go for it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Hey fellow big boobed ladies!!
I had started that thread about sportsbras. I am a natural 32/34 DD, and was very psyched to find the Champion bras as they are not uniboob, look adorable without a shirt on, and provide great support. If you can’t find the thread, ask me, I’ll shoot you the info on the styles I wear.Sapphire, fantastic idea! There is nothing sparkly and cute and supportive for us. My two cents: bear in mind that with natural boobs we don’t just need coverage, we need actual support. It’s my understanding that with implants the girls stand up a bit more and don’t need to be HAULED up into place. My girls need a good bit of help!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Ive been doing that since my teens! I now do one sports bra and those tanks w/the built in bra. I have to be careful though, I have insane cleavage some days!
I totally agree w/you on the bra choices. Its like were being punished for having big boobs. Its not my fault – its my kids and geneitcs! The thing I hate is paying an arm and leg to buy a bra, I know I need support but when they are over $44 a piece, it adds up.
Im all for your clothing line!
I have a really cute sports bra by nike. Its pink! I love it, Id wear it around the house!

I know!!! I remember shopping for bras once with my mom when i was in high school and the only bra in my size was a $75 Wacoal bra with LEAVES ON IT!!! It was hideous and insanely expensive but my mom insisted on buying it for me anyway and it was terrible (but also pretty funny now that i look back at it)
Beccagirl…I have also had bad luck with VS bras breaking on me and I can barely ever find my size in the stores as it is. I have had much better luck with Frederick’s of Hollywood, they stock a lot of larger sizes in the actual stores so you can try them on and the quality of their bras is decent for the price if you take care of them the way youre supposed to. And I have managed to find some cute ones in my size, it was a miracle!! They also carry other lingerie/corsets in the bigger cup sizes too. I’ve had good luck with the site Figleaves.com but I generally hesitate to buy a bra I can’t try on but I have ordered from them before and they stock a very wide variety of sizes.

The purple outfit they made for me at pole superstars, all it was is a purple victorias secret bra with stones glued on it, i had to double stick tape it everywhere cause for inverted moves NOTHING was holding back https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
I also am an artist and do painting and designing, so I can design the clothes and i have lots of ideas, I just cant sew or get though how to fabricate the ideas.
I was thinking a combo of clothes from this site

but fit for the pole -
Hey girls!
I was a natural Australian 14F (US 36F), before I started pole dancing. I’m going to be blunt. ‘Natural’ for me means saggy… and they’ve been saggy (compared to the media…lol) since I grew them. So agree with the needing help to keep them up point.
Now I’m in a 12E (US 34DDD/E) and that’s starting to feel loose, so I can probably drop down to DD soon. SO FRICKING HAPPY! If I get down to a D, I will be ecstatic.
I don’t fall out of my bras unless they’re not properly fitted. If I can find a nice bra in my size at BNT (Australian chain store, Bras N Things), I always get the professional ladies at the store fit it for me and they’re great helping me find something else if what I first wanted isn’t perfect. They really know what they’re doing.
However, seeing as I am not made of money (proper non-Kmart bras cost $50 and up) and as my weight has ballooned since moving out of my parents’ at 18 to start life as an adult and then dropped when I started poling seriously, I usually only have one properly fitting bra at a time… So, that means I often wear a crop top/sports bra over the top of my non-fitting normal bra to ensure I don’t fall out just from bending over to pick something up. Oh, and if I go to classes, they makes us do a full cardio warm up, and I wear two bras as I prefer not to be hit in the chin…lol. I keep all my bras and jeans now, because who knows what size I’ll be next year…
Yes, bigger often means they’re ugly, and I have a very hard time finding something that fits right and will always wear a singlet/spaghetti string top over bra and sports bra to hide it, and hoick it up if I need tummy/hip exposure.
At the moment I have a gorgeous satin red bra (in a 12E or 34E US) and pants set with black detail on it that I would so wear to pole if I didn’t have bikini line issues, shyness over my not perfectly flat belly and if I wasn’t on the verge of DD right now. There are heaps of bras I can fit now and want from BNT.
I use this site when I travel and bra shop, or talk to people online who aren’t from Australia: http://www.85b.org/bra_conv.php . It’s an international size converter, might be useful https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
I covet cute tiny bras. Would LOVE to see some bigger sized pole fashions!
As to moves, I haven’t had too much trouble that I’ve actually noticed or had to think about (besides falling out of a too big bra, which has never happened in class, thank god). They just move out of the way. I’m not very conscious of my boobs and their movements (if my bra fits, or I have a crop top over one) unless I am jumping up and down… Childcare has done that to me… I’ve had kids touch my boobs unconsciously every single day. I am just so used to being upside down too, I guess, and am way more worried about getting a wedgie… my tiny butt doesn’t hold my pants at all unless they’re tight and tight makes bulgy and I hate that… uuuuuuuurrrrrgggg!!! *breathe*
Anyone else feel like they’re boobs are disproportionally large?

Here’s a site I shop from because you can find really good deals on beautiful sexy bras (I get most of mine for under 26 bucks!) I’m a 34D…barenecessities.com They carry every brand out there!

YES! all the time! Its not fun when you 5’4 and your a 40dd. When I gave birth to my son I was a 46E. I almost cried when I was trying on nursing bras.
