    Hey guys!

I was just wondering If any of you had any tips on how to get a little jump start on losing weight? I do not want a quick fix by any means just a little push in the right direction. I have to see my ex in a month so I want to look as good as I can (even though I broke up with him). I Just want to tone up a little. I know A month isnt that much time so I'm not expecting a miracle or anything. I just want to feel a little more confident! Any and all advice is welcome! Thanks everyone!

If you like to read, the book Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle is an EXCELLENT read.  If you want a good plan to follow, this one is a good place to start.  🙂  http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/jamie-eason-livefit-trainer.html

A good website I use to track my diet, exercise and get motivation from others is Sparkpeople.com.  It's kind of like a Facebook for people that are into exercise and healthy eating.  You can track your calories, exercise, get diet plans and exercise ideas, plus there are tons of articles, recipes, etc. Like FB, you can make a profile page, add friends and join groups.  There is even a poledance group! I'm sure you could find lots of ideas there.

Do something new! Try a new exercise…… Our bodies get use to the same old same old. So mix it up when you can. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

hmm.. probably already saw your ex already hehe.. but basically the formula for weight loss is energy expenditure must exceed caloric intake. You can probably calculate your basal metabolic rate (a simple formula) and see what that is and adjust caloric intake based on that. And of course exercise helps to shed weight and keep healthy, as well as strength training can help you look more toned 🙂 best of luck! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
