I made 2 separate purchases from this company on 4/8 and 4/17. The shipments were slow in coming, but it wasn’t too bad. The problem started when I had to return items from each order. Since I have yet to receive my refund of $271.92 from this company I have filed complaints against them with the FTC, the Florida Attorney General, and the Better Business Bureau of Central Florida.

Below is a copy of what I submitted in my complaints. Believe me, I have phone records and emails to back everything up:

    BEGIN

I made two separate purchases from this company on 4/809 (Order # 15255) and on 4/17/09 (Order # 15459) in which I had to return several items.

I followed their return policy to the letter so that there wouldn’t be any concerns. On 4/23/09 the company received the returned items for Order # 15255. I emailed the company on 4/28 to request the status and advised them that they received my items on 4/23/09 via UPS. I got a response later that day stating that refunds take UP to 14 business days to process & that I would receive an email indicating it was complete & processed. I waited until 5/13/09 to contact them once again to ask about my refund. They did not respond & I never received a notification email.

In the meantime, I returned the items that I could not use from Order # 15459 and they received them on 5/2/09 via the USPS. On 5/17 I emailed the company again with regard to Order # 15255 because I had not received my refund as Nicole stated that the refund was being processed during my call to the company on 5/13 since they failed to respond to my email. I called again on 5/21 and spoke to Nicole. She then stated that the refunds in the amount of $113.96 (refund for Order # 15255) & $157.96 (refund for Order # 15459) respectively were in the Accounting Dept to be processed and that I should be receiving my refund within 3 business days via PayPal. I made my last attempt to get my refund on June 1st and spoke again to Nicole. She stated that she did not have the authority to process the refund via PayPal and that her Manager took care of it on 5/28 and that it takes 3 business days to post to my PayPal account. It is now 6/4/09 and the monies still have not posted to my PayPal account.

I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint on June 3rd and advised them that this had been done in hopes that they would contact me to settle immediately. No such luck. Additionally, I filed a consumer complaint with the Florida Attorney General’s office on 6/4/09.

Since they appear to be refusing to refund my monies I contacted my credit card company to dispute the 4/17/09 charge. I also contacted Paypal to dispute the 4/8/09 charge but they will not assist me in getting my monies back for the returned items because they don’t handle refund disputes unless you never received the original items in question.

    END

If anyone has any other suggestions on how I can get my money I’d really appreciate it as I just found out that my job is ending on June 15th. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

In the meantime…be forewarned that this company is not ethical in its practices.

That really sucks…your job ending and the refund thing. It sounds like you’re doing all the right stuff so you just have to wait and see.

Thanks for the warning though. I was wondering, what did you order and why’d you return it??

    Oh no about your job!
Are there other opportunities in your area right now for you?

What miserable jerks, though! How hard is it to refund, especially when the product has been returned. Crazy!

omg, that totally sucks! I had issues with a local business called Romeo and Jules. They sell all kinds of cool stripper stuff and are in canada, so I ordered an outfit from them, thinking it would be cheaper and faster………no such luck. They estimated 1-4 weeks, and at the end of week 4 I sent an email to the company’s customer service. I received a reply saying that a large order was being help by customs and that I should have my stuff by the end of the week.

At this point I’m thinking, why the hell wouldn’t they just write me and tell me that earlier. So I’m waiting and waiting for my sexy outfit. Finally a week and a half later I get an email refund from paypal and a notice from the online store that they will no longer be carrying Bodyzone apparel (which is the brand I ordered). https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif

I’m happy I got my money back. That really sucks about discount stripper https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif Hope everything works out for you!

    Sissy,

I’d never worn stripper shoes & there wasn’t a place locally that had the type shoes I was looking for. Since I didn’t know what size to get I order 2 of each pair in size 9 and 10. So I ended up sending back the sizes that didn’t fit. Now that I know my size I won’t have this dilemma.

Thanks for the well wishes on the job. I’m gonna go back to school and finish my degree in social work while drawing my unemployment. Also, my hubby & I have a few things we’ve been working on. Don’t want to reveal it until we get it going.

It’s so funny how things work out. God worked it out that just last Friday I contact my credit union and increased my line of credit. Additionally, I requested a few credit line increases on my credit cards. So, once the savings and unemployment are gone we’ll have something to fall back on in about a year.

I was able to put back some money from my expense checks for a rainy day so I’m not too worried. Planning ahead can really make things so much easier.

Thanks again for the well wishes. This forum is the BOMBBBBBB! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
