Love Love LOVE my Xpert!!! Be super cautious about tightening the X joints enough though. The first time I used mine I did not tighten the top joint enough… even though I read the instructions 7 times and thought I did. It spun around in the pole and stripped out. Had to buy a new xjoint and dislodge the stuck one.
Love my pole! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

i have an x but haven't put it together yet. i've read so much about being SURE it's tight enough…so how do you know??

That's what is so hard about it…. "tight enough" is subjective. I called Xpole and they were helpful. I ended up tightening it as hard as I could. I figured either the hex key would break or something else would break but I did not want to have to order more and deal with the silliness of banging my pole on a broom handle outside for 7 minutes while the neighbors wonder if they need to call the cops.
I hope it is okay to post this video. This video was made and posted by PennyGirl I found her video after I stripped my top x joint and it helped me when I got my new one in the mail. Her video was extremely helpful and I saved it to my favorites. Thanks PennyGirl!

Congrats on ordering your X-Pert!! I LOVE mine, and I know you'll LOVE yours!
I agree with JeHanne – 'tight enough' is subjective. I didn't tighten one of my x-joints enough when I put my pole up the first time, and the joint ended up spinning slightly in the pole. Luckily I was able to get it un-spun, and out of the pole, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to replace that joint at some point. It left a mark on the inside of my B pole where it moved, but that seems to be okay – luckily i have low ceilings and they sent me a 2nd 200mm x-joint with my pole so I just switched them out. I"m not sure if the damaged one is still okay to use; I"m going to have to send pictures to x-pole and ask them. I'm thinking I"ll have to replace it at some point.
So, make sure you tighten, tighten your x-joints, alternating ends so it tightens evenly, and for the first week, check it before and after each time you pole. You should only have to check it once a week after that. It only takes a minute. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif Enjoy your new pole when you get it!

Ok, I know I mentioned this in another post…but just in case you didn't see it…Get a tube of anti-seize lubricant, apply it to the thread and x-joints before you put your pole together.
This will guarantee the joints won't get stuck when you want to take them apart later on down the road….
Here's a link where you can get it on Amazon:
Happy Poling!! ^_^
