    I totally fell on my head when I first tried this, thank good for the mat. definitely important to have a strong hold with your knee pit and don’t hesitate or you will likely fall

    This might seem less scary if you don't think about it as a "flip" (it's not one anyway), and instead think about it as sitting up really fast, which is much closer to what it is.  You do need a good knee pit grip, though, so you should be comfortable hanging out in your brass monkey with no hands first.  You can even try doing it slowly at first if you have the strength.

    i called it brass monkey pop up before i knew the name lol even tho its not a complete flip i still think the move is a bit of a nerve tester! lol
