  • Brass pole cleaner?

Posted by Polefit Korea on October 8, 2013 at 1:26 am

    I purchased a brass pole.

And I have a question. How the hell do I need to clean it to look clean?

Do I need a special cleaner or anything?

Please tell me how I should handle brass pole. Thank you in advance.

This is why I went to chrome… the cleaning of my brass pole was tedious and chemically. Hope you figure out a good solution.

For day to day cleaning: rubbing alcohol. To take off the patina, brasso periodically (wear gloves and open the windows!)

I bought my home brass pole in the fall of 2007 from PoleDanzer. They recommended Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish…..soooooo that's what I bought. And it works well =]  Yes, it's a bit labor intensive, but it makes SUCH a difference to polish it up as well as help with grip.
