I'm thinking about doing a breast lift.

I'm 27 years old, never been pregnant. When I was younger I used to have really nice breasts (75D, europe size, I think). Then I started taking birth control pills, got depressed and gained weight, which increased my bra side by about a measure and a half.

My breasts still look OK when I'm a bit plump (though not as good as they used to), but now that I pole I lost a lot of body fat and they just look saggy and sad, and I'm thinking about fixing them, but I'm afraid that I won't be able to dance for too long.

Has anyone here done a breast lift (without implants) while poling? If so, are you happy with the results? How long did it take you to get back on the pole?

Do you want to have children at some point? If so maybe something to consider as your breasts go through changes during pregnancy and breast feeding. You may be very happy with the results from surgery only for them to change again after children. Also sometimes due to this kind of surgery you may not be able to breast feed at all as mostly the nipple is repositioned, damaging milk ducts. Wouldn’t harm getting expert advice from a consultation though 🙂

I agree with mummy, if you want to have kids in the near future, I’d definitely wait on the breast lift until AFTER you’ve had all the kids you plan on having. Any form of bodily plastic surgery is a big investment to make just to have it all go to pot once you start having kids because your entire body changes in many ways in pregnancy.

I've consulted with a plastic surgeon and I was told that I will probably not be able to breast feed if I'll do it.

The thing is – I don't want children in the near future (I assume I will want them some day, but right now I really don't want anything to do with children), and my body issues are bothering me now. I don't want to wait untill I'm 35 to be happy with my body. Aan of course, I expect that pregnancy will bring a whole new bag of other body issues with it…

My daughter, 19, had a breast reduction and the lift was part of the procedure. We visited 4 surgeons and the last one said that she shud be able to breast feed if she has children later. He said the ducts were not cut. All the other surgeons however said jus the opposite. Good luck to you. She is very happy!

    Thanks, everyone 🙂

No one knows how long should the recovery take?

Everyone heals differently…but the majority of docs will say 6-8wks.

I have had both procedures . About at age 21 had a breast lift after having my son with out implants over time I lost weight and wanted them bigger they were still perky but wasnt happy so about in 2005 I got implants put in with no lift this time. Since I had lost weight i was like a small b went to a full c. Now it’s been 8 years lol and I’ve gained about 25 lbs and I’m considering redoing them they aren’t saggy but not as perky anymore and now I’m a full d . I gained weight. Just saw my plastic surgeon two days ago and he suggested a lift but with a smaller implant instead of 325 which is what I got he suggested 250. Anyways to answer your question I would do a lift with a implant and make sure what size u want. Most people love them big I just like them natural and perky with cleavage . And research your drs and get different opinions . But defiantly go for a lift and an implant . And pray about it. Good luck. Some people r blessed with good boob genes I wasn’t one of them. When I redo mine this year probably end of year ill update u. Best of luck. It’s so worth it. Xo 🙂

    I don't want implants…

I like their size, they are just… flat. My dr estimated tha after a lift they will be D cup (right now they are DD). I'm happy with that.
