    Hey ladies!

So I have recently come across this style of yoga called Buti Yoga (Buti is an Indian Marathi word that means “the cure to something hidden within). It’s a fusion of Power Yoga, tribal dance and plyometrics. I have personally never tried it. Its a new sexy and a high intensity workout and its very centered in self acceptance and empowered female community.

I’m currently 6months pregnant and am thinking this would be a fun and sexy way to get back in shape and ready for the pole after baby. I quit after morning sickness hit and it stuck around until my 4th month. 🙁

Just wanted to share, as I think this is right up there with pole dance, as its physically challenging but mostly female centered in that it gets you moving in sensual ways and its empowering. Also just curious if anyone here has tried it themselves and what their experience has been with it?

I don’t personally, but there is a pole studio near us that teaches it so it must be a pretty good supplement!

…I haven’t tried it yet, but I can tell this is something that has the power to help a lot of women. I’m really into female empowerment. Just watching the videos gets me all pumped up with inspiration and motivation. That plus a studiov membership….I’ll be back in shape and stronger than ever in mind and body in no time! Can’t wait to get started.

I tried Sweet and Spicy workout last nite.
It is a very intense cardio yoga style with additional buti dance moves. Long and enduring.
But it didn’t send me into wow state. Some of the poses require to go deeper into a pose to get all benefit but in this style she rushes thru them and I don’t think I need more then 20 minutes of cardio. And I do buti enough in a separate class.
So really I will take some of the moves for my warm up and supplement my yoga routine pre and post but my regular poses need time to be in a “state of bliss” especially elite ones. I tried to go into my handstands after buti work out and it was difficult. Never mind trying for scorpio was frustrating. as after ashtanga or bikhram your body is more conducive for those moves. I guess it’s a different rhythm and balance.
It is probably good for weight loss and it is very main stream, nothing is difficult, very adaptable
