Cardio dvds
Posted by dustbunny on August 26, 2013 at 7:36 pmSo like most of us I do a lot of muscle conditioning and flexy work, but to be perfectly honest I hate Cardio. I’m just not motivated to push myself through any kind of Cardio workout on a regular basis.
I’m thinking that a dvd might help me because it’s something I can just follow along to. Anybody have any suggestions for Cardio dvds that you like to do?Lollipop82 replied 11 years, 2 months ago 4 Members · 9 Replies -

I think the problem (that I have at least) with cardio DVDs is that it doesn’t change (the scene, words, music, etc.). That being said, I have some success with doing Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred and Zumba DVDs.

I HAtE cardio too! Lol hooping and dancing through whole songs are my only source!

I just bought a hoop at Walmart, going to try it before dinner!

Make sure it’s a nice large hoop, the bigger the easier when first learning 🙂

Hooped for 20 min yesterday! It was fun, but hard. But I think I need to make a bigger hoop. I could only do the front and back stance, and only with my left foot forward. But I do think that the hoop is the problem, not me. It's too small, and it's got something that rattles around inside it making it feel off-balance and odd. Oh well, it was less than $10 and I will use it for the next couple weeks anyways until I have time to make myself a new bigger and better hoop.
I did have fun spinning it on my hands and arm though and doing isolations with it…trying not to throw it across the room too often. lol https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
Thanks for the suggestion Veena, and the fun lessons too.

Turbo Jam!! I love this dvd….can be a tad corny at times but great for both strength building and cardio and I typically hate doing cardio too:)
