    Greetings,

I would like advice if you have any, on what you'd consider minimum ceiling height necessary to make a yoga hammock at all viable.

My ceiling is 91 inches or 231cms high. Not ideal, but wonder whether its enough to at least still benefit from doing some of the exercises?

I am 5ft8" tall (175cms) to give you a sense of proportion. So, when I stretch my arms out above my head I am still unable to touch the ceiling but only barely(by roughly 3inches  only)

    Your comments and advice appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Conrad

Lowest height that was recommended when I took my teacher training was 8 feet.

I had a hammock in my back room at my old house and I think the ceilings were a bit under 8 foot.  It was okay for things like stretches but some stuff was difficult because I did not have much room in the hammock itself.  For lower ceilings I would think that maybe a double point would be better.

    Well, that's encouraging. 91inches is about 7 and 1/2 feet, so…

    What is a double point?

Thank you for the comments and suggestions
