Hi, I joined this site in May and I haven't gotten a pole yet but I've been taking in a lot of info from reading the discussions and watching videos. I've decided that I'll go with a 45mm but I'm not too sure about what finish to choose. I'm going back and forth between the chrome and titanium gold. For those of you who have either of these poles I would love some feed back so I can compare the two. Thanx:-)

How long have you been dancing and will you be doing a lot of static spins? I suggest Chrome for newer dancers and Titanium for the more experienced.

If your newer to pole and love static spins chrome is good. If you like spinning pole and would like a pole with a lot of grip go with Titanium gold.

Beginners can have a hard time with the titanium because it is so grippy, so static spins can be slower and more painful. Also with a grippy pole you don't have the ability to skooch around to find a good position, like on a Chrome finish. Chrome does have nice grip as well. One thing to  keep in mind, a warm pole and warm body always have the best grip. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

This was really helpful Veena, thank you. I've never pole danced before…..totally inexperiencedhttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif.  I'll be learning at home through your videos.  Sounds like chrome is the way to go for right now.
