I'm looking for a portable pole that is static and spinning.

I looked at Platinum Stages Star Stand alone. The studio I go to has one, but I don't feel comfortable with the wobbling and certain tricks and it would be hard to dance and use the floor because of the base. I know they it won't flip over, but still makes me nervous.

I also looked at the X-Pert pressure mounted pole. From what I've read it is very hard to assemble right without warping or over-tightening. I have no experience setting up a pole, how do I know what's enough or not.

I need a portable or removable pole because I will be looking for a new home with my husband. The house I'm in now has ceiling cracks and settling foundation, very old house (not sure how pressure mounting would work here). I really want one now. I just don't know if I should spend almost 2x the money on the star stand alone, it's not exactly what I want

Any suggestions or opinions appreciated. Thank you!

If you read the directions and watch the videos it is NOT difficult to set up an XPole correctly.  Most of the people who set them up incorrectly do so because they do not read the directions.
