    Hey Veena Nation,

I was just wondering what it is you use to clean your poles? I was using baby wipes and they worked really good. Someone told me Nail Polish remover.  I'm asking because earlier during practice I slipped like three times. I used a different rag, different types of rags and finally just gave up and did floor.

Another thing. My hands swet a lot so I bought some Mighty Grip Powder. Wow. I cant do anything but practice holds and it is SO hard to scrub off the pole. Am I just using the wrong stuff or should I invest in some glooves?

I heard if you start using glooves they are more or less a cheat..like using boots. you dont want to depend on them.

I use Windex for my pole and Tite Grip (plus Mighty Grip if I'm trying a new move) for my sweaty, sweaty hands!

I use Windex, it works wonderfully. I use Tite Grip for my sweaty hands and iTac2 for sticky grip.

I use Rubbing Alcohol to clean my pole. I had too much slip when I used Windex. I tried Vinegar and Vinegar/Water mixes but had too much slip. I have never tried nail polish remover, it seems very corrosive so I was afraid to use it on my pole.

I use dryer sheets in laundry and they soften so my pole rags air dry… no extra softeners on them.

    Hi everyone.

In a couple of weeks we're going to be lauching the first cleaner specfically designed for poles. Unlike alcohol and wipes our product is a dissolvant and made from organic materials with a nice lemon scent – no more nasty chemicals. It will also come with a special microfibre cloth. Stay tuned, more information to follow soon.

    Cheers

I use isopropyl alcohol wipes. They’re great for removing the traces of mighty grip and sweat at the end of a session. If the pole gets slippy while I’m working I use a pillowcase that hasn’t ever had softener on it. It works a treat!

Maby you used baby wipes with shea butter or lotion??

I use a mixture of half white distilled vinigar and half windex it works WONDERS!

I use a Boots (beauty store) cheap fragrance free face wipe and a cheap flannel for wipe down.

For my (super) sweaty hands I use dry hands which is great to stop sweat and doesn't leave residue on my pole.
