To all you people with low ceilings how do you practice your climbs? I can only do one and a bit climbs before I hit the top so can’t really practice too much

On veena’s climb lesson she suggests sliding back down the pole with out touching the floor and start the climb again. stay on the pole the whole time without taking your legs off. so you would climb, slide most of the way down, climb again, slide, etc. Hope that makes sense. I couldn’t think of the right words to describe it. if you have her lessons, watch her climbing video. 🙂

Oh that’s a good idea. Yes I’ve just subscribed to the lessons so I’ll take a look at that.

I hit my head a lot. (Explains the brain damage) My ceiling’s only 8 foot. Thinking about a pole for the garage. But like in Veena’s climb lesson, sliding down does work fine for training purposes. In some ways doing that helps more, which I notice when I get on a taller pole.

Working on an out door taller pole. Just gave to finish digging the hole. I have an in door pole, low ceilings and have issues with trusting my tension mounting poles.
