Difference between one piece and multi piece poles?

Sorry I don't see anything the poster (or anyone) wrote that was negative towards you until you started…she was asking from the start about PS poles from the start and your post was a lot about XPoles so she just said a general I think I want a PS for these reasons and it was not directed at you at all…that isn't catty. Or are you offened that she wants a PS and not XPole? You're comments about her "knowledge" and "think again" are just mean and COMPLETELY unwarrented. You're 43 years old, even if you felt someone was rude I would hope you would know by now not to stoop to their level.

She is not the first one who has said she doesn't want the XPole brass because from what she has heard–however true it may or may not be– it is not solid brass. There are dozens of posts on this website saying the XPole brass sucks…so she is repeating what she has read from loads of polers on this website. Just because that isn't your personal opinion you don't need to insult her. She compiled info from dancers on this site so you are being rude to everyone who has posted about not believeing the pole is complete brass on here by that "knowledge" remark. I personally called the company and I believe what they told me. You chose to believe what you have heard and no one is questioning your intelligence, are they? If you feel so strongly just keep dancing on your brass XPole and she can have her brass PS and leave it alone.

..thanks…
@chemgoddess1 I don't know how you got the impression I was being condescending towards you, because that was not my intent at all.
I'm set on PS over XPole because I want brass and XPole wants too much for a product that isn't a *real* brass pole. Pussycat Poles is AU did tell me they will ship to US but the shipping fee is more than what a new PS or XPole would cost…maybe down the road but I don't think I can justify spending that money when I'm brand new.
I wasn't specifaclly referring to you or being nasty, I was just trying to let people know I was considering the PS brand because I have heard on this site it's better as far as the brass goes. So I wanted more discussion comparing PS poles since I know that's what I want to buy. I actually found your first post to be very helpful…hence why I clicked "like" on it. I think when you responded you were being passive aggressive and I am trying to get into this sport to help build my self confidence. I do not need the sour comments from negative women so I have found a different more accepting pole dance blog to join.
Everyone else, thank you so much for the responses! As mentioned before, I decided to go with the one piece!

acd3k and Madame, a little back story.
Every few months there are new members that come on here and start off asking relatively normal questions and then start going into how XPoles are not *real* brass, how you can get lead poisoning from the chrome poles, how PS are superior because they are made in the USA, and several other tactics. Typically these new members with no pictures and the threads turn into what is referred to as trolling. As soon as the words *real brass* were used that triggered in me (and I am sure many others that have been here and gone through this over the years) a response of "oh, please, not again". I apologize if I came off as harsh and quite the B**ch but there was a method to my madness. I hope that the two of you stick around and see how incredible this forum is.

acd33k……Here's my thought, If you can do a single piece go with that, just make sure you measure correctly and account for carpeting if you will be dancing on that. All brands of brass tend to be more difficult to work with if you live in a cold climate so keep that in mind. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
