I'm going to copy and paste some of my response from another topic and add to it if thats ok:

I've been researching all these aerial gym options. I like the aerial empowerment hammock, but you can use the hammock part alone with the fly and omni. The omnis main sling is 4×8. The fly is about 4 something by 4 something, but very stretchy. The empowerment hammock I believe is 5 wide and whatever length you want, so yeah if you wanna go silks, get a super long hammock. I plan to buy an omni. I like the trapeze setup. I like that the stand has 3 poles all around you so you can still do pole moves assisted by it. I saw a youtube of 3 polers just using the stand legs for monkeyin' around and the trapeze setup. I plan to put mine in the center of the living room and when I don't want the swing out, I can hang just a regular hammock chair from the connect point as a cool accent piece. I just can't decide if I want an 8'3" or an 8'6" (HUGE difference I know lmao but I just wanna get the right thing for me). I also found the best views of the stand from the pt 1 0f 9 101 omni gym moves video on youtube. I definitely can see me taking it outside or on vacations lol.

The Fly Gym does have two smaller slings and a main sling, as well as a set of handles. The Omni just has the padded foot/thigh slings instead of a really "hammocky" looking side sling. The omni with the trapeze is cool, because you can just carabeaner the hammock, side handles, or slings interchangeably, either to the outter 2 loops, or from the center single point. You can also go without the trapeze system, you loose the bounce and the swivel, but you can buy the swivel. I think you can find instructions online, or ask them to email them to you, as they say thats how they are delivering instructions in order to reduce their paper trail/carbon footprint. The Omni is padded and not as stretchy as the Fly, and the Fly isn't padded, but is very stretchy, the empowerment hammock I believe has about the middle ground between the two, but is a little wider, which is the one thing I wish Omni was because I love when people are all balled up in their hammocks, looks so cozy and cocooning, but its only a foot shorter, and I've seen plenty of photos of people "cocooning" in the omnis.

I also found that Omni has another website after Liking them on Facebook, http://www.omni-gym.com that has some alternate photos and stuff, but the info is basically the same as the yogaswing.com that pops up when you google the gym.

If you got the omniswing without the stand, its the same type of rigging as the fly or any other hammock, heavy boltage properly into the ceiling (LOTS of rigging info on fly gyms site that would be about the same for any of the hammock systems) http://flygym.com/about/equipment

I feel like the omni and Fly have those extra straps so you can really go "gym" with it, where as the hammock is very yoga and flowy. I like the idea of having handles for extra spotting and stuff, and I love when people are planking or working on splits with just the handles and extra slings, with the main sling having been removed. Both Fly and Omni have this option.

If I can think of any other WHAMO differences, I'll repost, but thats the jist of what I have discovered. Definitely go youtube videos of people using each. And Veena did a hammock video that was VERY dancey and flowy and stuff, but wouldn't be like "I'm going to do 2 presses and pulls and this pose and that pose to target these muscles" type of workout, its more like working everything like you do with pole.

I'd love to hear people who have them weigh in about their experiences.

Thanks for all the info! I’ve been thinking about the omni, but need to see if I have the space, and if they’re available in the UK. I like the frame, since I rent and can’t drill holes into the ceiling. I really want one after reading all this though!

I'm pretty sure Omni can do UK….I know they can do Australia from looking at some comments on their Facebook. Theres a button on their sale page that says "click here for non us shipping charges" but the link takes you to a not found page. Not sure about the other types and where they are because I've pretty much settled on Omni. Oh I found it, the shipping is listed as "for Western Europe"

I just still wish I could get the Omni with the Flygym side slings instead of the omni foot pad slings. I just like that hammockynes. I did hear of a few other "aerial gyms" while browsing their Facebook like the Air Gyro Gym…. Haven't looked at that one much yet.

Yeah cept the fly is now 389, not the 289 it was last year (lol) and the stand is 395 plus shipping, not including the rig bar. The omi complete has all of it for 695 + shipping. Even cheaper for right now cuz nothing is in stock. $$ say the fly gym side hammocks aren’t work the gains vs losses

Yes, I think they just increased the fly gym cost. I think it was 289 last week, now 329! I don’t want to pay that much….300 is my budget. Wonder is they would give A SV discount????? fly gym people?????

Someone made a comment that made me think 289 was a promotional price and 389 is “regular”. Can’t rember where I saw that. Maybe the 40mm vs FlyGym thread….

air gyro has the gym for $289. Her website is a little hectic, but if you know that there are two types of swings, the Air Gyro Gym Cush, which is like the fly gym and omni gym. It comes with one sling, or 2 for a little more $. The other is the Flexy Flyer extreme trainer, but I doubt you'd want that. It's more for stregth training only. She has the swing version first, folloowed by all it's colors, the one with furry feet, the sex swing version, etc.
