Dirdy Birdy Pole Wear
Posted by Kate O on December 1, 2013 at 11:58 amDoes anybody own any of her pole clothing? I’m considering getting some so I’d love to know what you think if you’ve tried it 🙂

I bought the meow top and the fly bottoms and top. I love the material it is made out of, however, if you are big chested the meow print is on too low. I think it stretches a wee bit but it’s super duper comfy.

I want some of her clothing too but haven’t went through with a purchase yet… I am actually browsing now at pole clothes.
I found a site called 007heaven.com.au
They have a few different pieces that you can have customized and have your name put on them. I love some of the tops, they look unique -
I have a lot of dirdy birdy gear, I love her pole shorts and crop tops, I find them to fit really well and support you especially through all the inverted stuff!
-
Luv Dirdy Birdy – her gear is very comfy and flattering.
Personally I am not a fan of any halter style tops that put pressure behind your neck but the “fly” & “meow” tops are brilliant. I also run in mine cuz they don’t rub me and they support my small bust well whilst looking very sporty. But i’m not too sure how you would go in the “meow” top for running (or inverting) if you were large chested.
The shorts, bikinis and slinky style pants are also great – just depends on the look and amount of coverage you want. The shorts are awesome, fold over at the top and there are heaps of colours / styles to mix n match with your tops. If you want to show off your butt then definitely get the mini shorts, they show off butt cheeks much better!
The only thing I don’t like is the fact that the padding inserts in the tops come out when I wash them so I have to keep reinserting or arranging them after a wash & I also wash them in underwear bags or else you (sorry I should say hubby) may lose the inserts!
The white ” fly” top can also go a bit see through if you’re really sweaty too.
I get great comments on my DB wear and they are great for both poling and general sports activities….DB has excellent customer service AND there is a sale on right now!!! Can’t beat that 🙂 …. Can you tell I’m a fan of DB?!
I do have some other pole clothes but I just don’t find them as comfy or attractive to wear.

I really want some but the shipping charge to UK is as much as the clothes themself!!
-
Shipping charge is only 10 AUD isn’t it? Or maybe I got that wrong. I really want some of the shorts but my friend warned me I might get charged loads of importation tax 🙁 anybody know where I can work out how much it will be? I tried one website but it didn’t make much sense.

I too want some cool pole wear! All I ever wear is my poletoned tops and shorts (that’s my studios name ) . All the best clothing is nowhere near me lol

http://Www.badkitty.com exotic wear. This is a super cool site they sale all kinds of things for a good price

As far as I know (I actually did ask her), none of her tops are for larger-chested ladies. Something about DD and lower, I believe. Her shorts are super cute, though, and I may order some when I have some spending money!
Actually, I’ve never found a good pole top for anyone above a DD 🙁
-
That’s not gonna be a problem for me and my little boobs 😛 one advantage of having a small chest I suppose! Does anyone in the UK have any other suggestions for pole wear? Most of the stuff I come across is from the US.

i often buy crop tops from asos, primark, anywhere that sells them. I wear a sports bra (like runemist I’m bigger chested so need to wear a sports bra!) and then a top over it. There are zilch pole tops that I have come across that I feel comfortable wearing without a bra underneath it yet.
For bottoms I have friends that buy boy shorts knickers and wear them to pole in. Provided you layer up they don’t flash (often ;))it’s easy to get sucked into ‘must buy pole branded clothes only to pole in’ but it’s not that hard to find stuff you can pole in!
I also have DB shorts & agree they are super comfy – i have the scrunch tie sides and I can’t pole without them. I bought a couple things off her and had no problems. I also bought from BlackMilk once for 1 piece of clothing and had to foot the bill for that 🙁 but with duty I believe if you order over a certain amount then you have to cover the cost

I really want some of her cheeky shorts, they’re so cute! Unfortunately, I don’t quite have the front for them. Big stomach.
-
I really want to buy from DB too and I live on Australia so the shipping charges won’t be a problem for me! I’m just worried about the scrunch tie shorts strings getting in the way while poling… Has anyone experienced this?

VillainVixen – I am pretty small all over but unfortunately have the muffin top thing happening in a big way :(. I find that if I roll the top of the shorts over all you can see is my tummy (yuk!) but if I leave the top of the shorts up it helps hold it in and doesn’t look too bad. It also doesn’t get in the way if I’m doing inverted moves or leg switches etc – I still have enough skin exposed on the side of my tummy to grip the pole.
LeyRose – you can either let the ties hang down or tie them up in a bow or knot. You can also use the ties to make the shorts more scrunched up or not, depending on the look & amount of coverage you want. I’ve never found them to get in the way but if you let them hang loose you do have to get used to the feel of them on your thighs. All the girls at our studio have these or very similar style shorts with the side ties – they look cool, add a bit of variety & no one has ever had a problem with moves because of the ties.
Hope this helps ladies 🙂
