Which incident? She slipped out of a spatchcock during a performance a while ago but last year while preparing for Cirque there was a pretty bad rigging accident which left her hospitalized and off the pole for about 6 months.

What is a rigging accident?
Im lad she is back. She will always be my number one pole star. I saw her first preformance after the accident and she cried at the end. Beautiful.

I do not know all of the details, just bits and pieces that I saw on FB at different times. There was talk of it here, a little over half way down the comments (starting around Oct 13)

She had posted this on FB:
“Ok my peeps! So here’s what happened – I had a very bad accident. Ambulance, hospital, surgery, broken bones – the whole kit and caboodle. So this is why I have been on the DL for a small section of time. I will be off the pole for at least 3 months. I have good news – much to the doctors and witnesses’ amazement I AM ALIVE! I should make a full recovery. So thank you all for your patience with me and for those of you who knew before thank you for your kind love and support. Healing is slow but after a spectacular crash and burn there ain’t nothing quite as sweet as a kickass comeback which I fully intend to make.”- Felix Cane
Rigging is pretty much what is used to secure any of the aerial equipment, lights, etc. If anyt of you have seen the competitions where the pole fell down on a Russian dancer, that is a rigging accident. I am not sure if it was officailly announced what exactly happened or if it ever will be announced.
