  does anyone know of a place where i can get some lessons in the central illinois area…the midwest link was for the chicago area n thats too far for me to drive for classes.

  That should have had all of the studios in Illinois (not just Chicago).  It is the most current listing that I know of for all of the Midwest states.

   

  You can also check Pole Nation but I do not think it is as current/thorough as the Midwest one.
