I didn't realize there was so much to consider before buying a pole and my head is spinning (no pun intended). I want one that is the least damaging to my ceiling. Ive heard of the cracking ceiling with pressure mounted if u dont put it up properly  but I like the fact that there are no drills on those. Ohhh idk…

Xpole said they have made improvements on the xjoint like maybe last year? Does anyone have an xpole that has the "new and improved" joints? They sound so complicated to take care of…help!

I've had an xpole for over a year now and not had any problems. The cracked ceiling is the same for any pole, not just a pressure mounted one. They all need to be underneath a joist.

I picked xpole because I'm in rented accommodation so I can't make any alterations to the house. If that's not a problem for you then decide what size and finish you want first, then decide on which company to go with.

I have the new one, they are SOLID. I’ve had not one problem with it, and it leaves absolutely no damage. I like it much better than the first xpert I bought in 2010. Platinum stages also makes a good removable pole.
