I really want to order some shoes. I thought for inverts, it might be better to get the heels that have the clear plastic strap that buckles around the ankle as well, rather than the ones that just slip on. (I just envision a shoe falling off and hitting me in the face or something crazy..haha) I'm just worried that since it's plastic-y, it will cut into the skin when i bend my ankle. Does anyone have problems with that?

I have a pair of pleasers that are super comfortable.  I never have had a problem with the straps cutting into my skin.  🙂

I have never had issues with the ankle straps.  I have more issues with toe hang than anything else.

You'll definitely want shoes with straps, for exactly the reason you give.  ðŸ™‚  I think the clear plastic is more comfortable than the patent–the clear is flatter so the pressure is evenly distributed.

No they don’t hurt, and yes the straps break!
