  • Easy Advance Trick on Spin Mode

I'm in process of putting a routine together for my 1st performance at  showcase. I will be mostly doing my dance on static pole but would like to do 30-45 sec on the spinning pole. I am just practicing now on spinning mode when I have always only learned on static. I have practiced a couple of pretty spins on the spin mode but want to add a easy achievable advance trick or advance combo.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm stil feeling dizzy on fast spins. . I have approx 3 1/2 months till showcase. Thx

Invert to inside knee hook into butterfly, ….. it is one of the easiest to learn on spin if you have the strength.

i think spinning while holding yourself in split grip looks cool… its just a pose. you can pretend to walk on air as you spin around and that looks neat if done right and you dont have to go too fast

I agree with paintilady. That was one of the first combos I did on spin mode. After Butterfly, I went into Flatline Scorpio, then dropped down into regular Scorpio then to the ground because you will probably be super close to it already. If this combo is too much on spin, you could always climb, then aerial invert into Gemini/Scorpio switches. Always impressive looking.

Thanks girls, I'm gonna try these at practice. Apart from the 30-45 sec spin combos, It would also be ideal for me to start my short flow at beginning of my routine on spin. My short flow includes the twisted grip mount into knee hold . But I still kick into my twisted grip mount and have been scared to try this on spinning cuz I don't know if it would whip me off the pole. Any one   tried kicking into TG ayasha on spinning? Any tips?
